Rebecca Romijn (pronounced "romaine") was born in 1972, in Berkeley, California. She attended UC Santa Cruz and majored in music in 1995. To help pay the bills during her student days, Rebecca sdecided to sign up with a San Francisco modeling agency. After a while she took time off from her studies to work with modeling full-time. She instantly got contracts with major league fashion houses such as Christian Dior and Escada. In 1996, she appeared i Victoria's Secret catalogs. Rebecca Romijn can also be seen showing off her milk moustache in the advertising campaign Got Milk?, with fellow model Tyra Banks, and Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow. Rebecca was featured in People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" list for 1997. She can also be seen in the 1996 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
Rebecca Romijn has appeared in TV sitcoms such as Just Shoot Me and Friends, she has the hosted MTV's House of Style. Rebecca also hade a role as the mutant Mystique in the movie X-Men, co-starring Halle Berry and Famke Janssen
In 1997, Rebecca appeared on the cover of GQ in a bikini bottom with Dennis Rodman's hands painted on her chest. Rebecca Romijn married former Full House star John Stamos in 1998. The couple met in 1994 at a Victoria's Secret fashion show where Rebecca was a model. They began dating two months later. The couple filed for divorce in 2004.
She appeared in the film Man About Town (2005), co-starring Ben Affleck.
