Kylie Minogue great singer was born in Melbourne, Australia. At the age of 10, she went with her sister to audition for The Sullivans and landed the role of Carla. Her big brake came when she was casted as Charlene on the popular Australian soap opera, Neighbours, co-starring Natalie Imbruglia and Jason Donovan. During her time on Neighbours, Kylie recorded her debut single, a remake of the pop track, The Locomotion. While the Australian soap was being aired in England, music producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman spotted Kylie Minogue. Her music career took off with the release of I Should Be So Lucky, and was followed by the chart-topping Got To Be Certain, Hand On Your Heart, Wouldn't Change A Thing, and Never Too Late. In the '90s, Kylie Minogue went from pop princess to sexy superstar. She had a romance with the INXS lead singer, the now late Michael Hutchence, whom she met while on tour in Hong Kong. The new Kylie Minogue was gaining more media coverage than ever, and she signed a a new record deal with DeConstruction Records. Kylie is one of Australia's greatest exports, along with supermodel Elle "The Body" MacPherson.
