Jesse Jane was driven by a quest for stardom and after submitting her photographs to an advertised model search she becomame a top finalist. She then started with juggling print and studio work for major retail chains like "5/7/9" and "David's Bridal". Jesse Jane won an area contest and appeared in local and national commercials for the restaurant "Hooters". She entered a model search for "Hawaiian Tropics" and became a top finalist in the regional contest. While competing in Hawaii, she impressed the director and got a walk-on role in Baywatch: The Movie.
In August 2002, Jesse Jane was named "Miss Photogenic" by the esteemed American Dreams Pageant. She received a trip to the Bahama Islands where she shot commercials for the pageant sponsors. She signed a contract with Digital Playground. Their cameras followed her around her first AVN convention and award show and onto her first movie set, which was "No Limits". In 2003, Nightmoves presented her with their "Best New Starlet" award. In 2005, she starred in the smash hit Pirates, together with Janine Lindemulder, Devon and Carmen Luvana. The film won "Best All-Girl Sex Scene" (between Jesse and Janine) at the AVN Awards 2006.
