Jenny McCarthy Playboy Playmate has three sisters, and her parents seperated in 1996. She strugled to get money to pay for her second year of nursing studies at Southern Illinois University, but she quit school to pursue her modeling career. The modeling career led to disappointment because people told her she was too curvy. Jenny decided to deliver her pictures personally to the Playboy office. She got $20,000 to pose as Miss October 1993. She won the Playmate of the Year title and $100,000 in cash and prizes. After that she moved to Los Angeles.
She had a hard time finding work in L.A. After a while Jenny McCarthy got an interview at MTV, and landed a co-hosting position on the network. She became a VJ and got $500,000 for the year. She left Singled Out and focused on creating a new MTV sketch-variety series, The Jenny McCarthy Show. She developed a sitcom for NBC, in which she became the assistant of a Hollywood movie star. Playboy offered Jenny $500,000 for more of her nude pictures. She said "no thanks" to the offer, bacause it wasn't the path she wanted to take. Playboy settled for re-run pictures of her for upcoming issues.
In 1995, Jenny McCarthy took the role of a blonde nurse in Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead, starring Andy Garcia. Later on she portrayed a movie star in The Stupids (1996), opposite Tom Arnold. In 2003, Jenny appeared in the sequel Scream 3. Jenny McCarthy married director John Mallory Asher on September 11, 1999. Her hobbies are Kickboxing, Karate and Ice skating.
