Jennie Garth Great Actress was born in Urbana, Illinois. Her parents each had 3 children when they met and then they had Jennie. When Jennie was 13 her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she took dance lessons and did some modeling. In her junior year of high school, Jennie Garth dropped out and moved to California with her mom to pursue an acting career. She auditioned for the role of Kelly Kapowski on TV series Saved by the Bell, but she didn't get the part. Instead the role went to Tiffani Thiessen, who soon became good a friend of Jennie's. In 1990, she landed the role of Kelly Taylor on the series Beverly Hills 90210.

Jennie Garth married Peter Facinelli on January 20, 2001, in Santa Barbara, California. Together they have two daughters: Luca Bella (born 29, 1997) and Lola Ray (born December 6, 2002). Jennie played the role of Valerie Tyler in the WB sitcom What I Like about you co-starring Amanda Bynes.
