Heather Graham was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her father worked for the FBI, and motherwas a former school teacher and author. Due to her father's occupation, the family were forced to relocate often. Heather attended her first elementary school in Virginia. She attended Agoura High School where she was considered "uncool". Heather Graham began to follow her dream of becoming an actress and her mother would drive her to screen auditions in Hollywood. Heather was relieved to have finally graduated from Agoura. After graduation, Heather went from job to job, eventually landing various roles in movies including License To Drive (1988), and Drugstore Cowboy (1989). After some time she enrolled to the University of California, in Los Angeles. She majored in English, but dropped out after 2 years to try again at making a name for herself acting. During the next couple of years Heather went on to play diverse roles in movies including Six Degrees of Separation co-starring Will Smith, and Don't Do It and Even Cowgirls Get The Blues. In 1997, Heather Graham got her big break in the movie Boogie Nightsas "Rollergirl" (a young porn actress who constantly wore roller-skates everywhere she went). The movie is the true story of renowned porn actor John Holmes' life. She has also graced the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine and several other magazines. She got a modeling contract with Emanuel Ungaro, and she starred in Lost In Space (1998), Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) and The Guru (2002).
