Courteney Cox went to a public school in Birmingham called Mountain Brook High, and worked afternoons at the local pool supply store. She graduated from high school, 1982, and began to study architecture at Mt. Vernon College in Washington. The year befor she was finished with college , she met Ian Copeland, her stepfather's nephew. Together they worked for a New York City music agent.
